Welcome to the Minnesota High School Equestrian Association!  Whether you are a member, advisor, or parent/guardian, we hope you will enjoy your MHSEA experience.

When my daughter, Melissa, and I started this program in 2001 we wanted to provide young riders the opportunity to establish a high school club to pursue the sport of horseback riding with their friends.  That concept has evolved into a statewide program providing high school equestrian athletes across Minnesota with the opportunity to enjoy the camaraderie of other high school riders and represent their high school in "team" competition at the same time.  In 2010 the MHSEA will offer more than 30 equestrian clubs statewide!

I am very proud of the dedication and hard work that our volunteer advisors, board members, committee chairs, sponsors and MHSEA parents and members provide and thank each of you for your participation and contribution to making our program so rewarding and enjoyable for all.
